Separate outside size from usable space
The outside width of a cabinet is not enough to specify an internal basket or shelf. Side panels, hinges and existing fittings may reduce the available space. Measure usable width, depth and height separately, marking the measurement points on photographs. Even when several cabinets share a model, test the first sample in an actual body.
Show door movement and access
The clear opening with the door open affects installation and product removal. Fixed shelves and moving baskets may require different connections. Explain any runner, lock or other mechanism at the initial discussion. Compatibility with the cabinet and installation allowances must be resolved for the individual project.
Describe contents and cleaning
Product size, approximate weight and arrangement influence the design. Wire spacing or shelf surface should not be selected for appearance alone. Discuss cleaning methods and the environment when considering materials and finishes. Technical capacity and suitability for specialist uses need an assessment of the actual requirements, not a general assumption.
Assemble the order information
